Mitered Square Dishcloth

Crochet with Sarah features a mitered square dishcloth design. It's easy and great for beginners.

Above is my first attempt at making this pattern. I am using a discontinued yarn in the colorway of #180 peppercorn ombre by Peaches & Creme. It's a 4 ply yarn. Its 100% cotton. I hope you will make one as well. Enjoy!

Crochet Flower Granny Square

I had to make another granny square flower today. I used a worsted weight number four yarn in the colors yellow, pink, green and white. You can make one using the Bag-O-Day Crochet Flower Granny Square tutorial by Crystal.

I had to make a red rose because I have the Lincoln Red Rose growing in my garden. I have a Pink Peace Rose as well.

I'm not sure what I will do with the squares yet. I should probably make more and make a couch covering to drape across the top.

I'm using Wal-Mart Mainstay 100% acrylic in the colorway of pink. I used the recommended hook size of 6.00 mm. I hope to update my progress later. I think it's looking good so far.

A Very Special Christmas Gift

The Christmas of 2020, my mom bought me some crochet hooks from Amazon. I received a set of becraftee.

The becraftee kit of 12 extra long crochet hooks came with the following sizes: 2.25 mm, 2.75 mm, 3.25 mm, 3.5 mm, 3.75 mm, 4 mm, 4.5 mm, 5 mm, 5.5 mm, 6 mm, 6.5 mm and 8 mm. I have created many gifts for my family with these crochet hooks. I hope to share those with you later.
